Who are Ashbee & Stone?

Ashbee & Stone is the new home of The Cast Iron Bath Company, offering a collection of luxury baths, tapware, showers, basins, toilets, furniture, heating and bathroom accessories. Our designs bring together classic proportion, lasting craftsmanship and everyday function to help create bathrooms with quiet, enduring elegance.

Yes. Ashbee & Stone represents the wider business and full bathroom collection, while The Cast Iron Bath Company continues as our signature cast iron bath collection. The same attention to quality, design and service remains at the heart of everything we do.

What is RossaStone®?

RossaStone® is our stone composite material used for selected baths, basins and shelves. It is designed to balance sculptural beauty with everyday practicality, offering a durable, easy-to-clean surface suited to modern luxury bathrooms.

What is special about your cast iron baths?

Our cast iron baths are designed as lasting centrepieces. They combine traditional craftsmanship, reassuring weight and timeless form, making them ideal for bathrooms where elegance, durability and presence matter.

Which brassware collections do you offer?

Our key brassware collections include Linton, Bayor and Klee. Linton offers an elegant, understated look, Bayor is inspired by the clean geometry of 1920s Bauhaus design, and Klee features distinctive industrial handwheel detailing.

What finishes are available?

Many products are available in a choice of finishes, including chrome, polished nickel, brushed nickel, living brass, timeless brass, brushed brass, matt black and selected special finishes. Finish availability varies by product, so please check the individual product page or contact us for guidance.

What is a living brass finish?

Living brass is an unlacquered finish designed to change naturally over time. As the brass oxidises, it develops a unique patina, giving each piece its own character. It can also be polished to restore brightness when desired.

Can I order finish samples?

Selected products and finishes may have samples available. Where offered, you can request a sample from the relevant product page or contact our team for help choosing the right finish for your bathroom.

Can I mix traditional and contemporary products?

Yes. Many Ashbee & Stone designs are created to work across different interior styles. A cast iron bath can sit beautifully with contemporary brassware, while modern RossaStone® pieces can be softened with traditional finishes and classic accessories.

Ordering and Advice

Can I speak to someone before placing an order?

Yes. Our team is happy to help with product advice, finish selection, compatibility questions, delivery queries and order support.

How can I place an order?

You can place an order through our website, by email, over the phone.

 

Payment can usually be made online, over the phone, by pro-forma invoice, or by bank transfer. Please note that all international orders must be paid by bank transfer.

What happens when I order through the website?

Once your website order has been placed successfully, it will come through to our sales team for processing.

 

A member of the team will review the order and contact you if any additional information is required, including delivery details, lead times, or product availability.

Can I order by email?

Yes. If you would like a quotation before placing your order, please contact us using the website contact form or email [email protected].

 

We will prepare a quotation for you. If you are happy to proceed, we can send a pro-forma payment link or arrange payment by phone where appropriate.

 

Once payment has been received, we will process your order and keep you updated.

Can I order by phone?

Yes. If you would prefer to speak to a member of our sales team, you can place your order over the phone.

 

We can help you check that you have selected the correct bath, taps, waste fittings, and accessories before taking payment. We can also discuss lead times, delivery information, and any product questions during the call.

Can you help me choose the right products?

Do I need to check product specifications before ordering?

Yes. We always recommend checking measurements, installation requirements, tap hole options, waste compatibility and finish details before placing an order. For larger items such as baths, furniture and stone products, please also check access routes into your property.

When will I receive my final invoice?

Final invoices are normally sent by email once the goods have been dispatched.

 

You will usually receive your invoice either the day before delivery or on the day of delivery, using the email address provided when the order was placed.

Delivery

Do you offer UK delivery?

Yes. We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses, with delivery options shown on individual product pages.

How long will delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on the product, stock availability and whether the item is bespoke or made to order. Many smaller stocked items are usually delivered within a few working days, while larger, bespoke or specialist items may take longer.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes. International delivery may be available by quotation. Shipping times and costs vary by destination, product size and order details. Please contact us for an international delivery quote.

What is kerbside delivery?

Kerbside delivery means your order is delivered to the nearest accessible point at the delivery address. For large or heavy items, you should ensure suitable help is available to move the goods safely into the property.

What should I do when my order arrives?

Please inspect your order carefully on arrival and report any damage or issues within 48 hours. Keep the original packaging until you are fully satisfied that the goods are correct and undamaged.

Returns and Collections

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes. If you change your mind, you can return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, saleable and in their original, undamaged packaging.

Are bespoke or made-to-order items returnable?

Bespoke, personalised or made-to-order items may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless faulty. Please check the product details and terms before ordering.

How do I arrange a return?

Contact our team with your order details and the reason for return. We will advise the next steps and any requirements for returning the goods safely.

Will I receive a full refund?

Eligible returned items must be unused, saleable and in their original packaging. If an item has been used, damaged or returned incomplete, a deduction may be made from the refund.

Warranty and Care

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Ashbee & Stone products are covered by warranties against faulty materials or manufacture, provided they are installed, cared for and used in accordance with the instructions supplied.

What warranty periods apply?

Warranty periods vary by product. Please refer to our warranty page for exact warranty periods.

Are third-party products covered by the same warranty?

Third-party product warranties vary by manufacturer. Please contact us before purchase if you would like full warranty details for a specific product.

How should I care for my brassware?

Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water for routine cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, bleach and scouring pads, as these may damage the finish. Living finishes, such as unlacquered brass, will naturally change over time. For more information please refer to our Product Care Guide.

How should I care for RossaStone® products?

Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads. Always follow the product care guidance supplied with your item.

Will natural stone vary in appearance?

Yes. Natural stone is formed by nature, so variations in colour, tone, veining, texture and pattern are to be expected. These natural differences are part of the character of the material.

Installation

Do you offer installation?

Ashbee & Stone supplies bathroom products but does not provide installation. We recommend using a suitably qualified bathroom installer, plumber or tradesperson.

Should I use a professional installer?

Yes. Many of our products require professional installation to ensure correct fitting, safe use and warranty compliance. This is especially important for baths, showers, tapware, furniture, heating and stone products.

Are wastes, taps and accessories included with baths and basins?

Inclusions vary by product. Please check the product description carefully to see what is included and what needs to be ordered separately.

Overseas Orders

Can I order from outside the UK?

Yes, we can quote for overseas orders.

 

Please contact us using the website contact form or email [email protected] with your full billing address, delivery address, and the items you would like to order. We will then obtain a carriage quote from our courier and send you a full quotation.

Can international customers pay online or by phone?

For overseas orders, we can only accept payment by bank transfer.

 

Once you are happy to proceed with your quotation, we will provide the bank details required for payment.

What happens after my overseas payment has been received?

Once your payment has been confirmed by our accounts team, we will contact you to confirm receipt and begin processing your order.

 

We will also advise you of any product lead times and expected collection dates. Once the goods have been collected by the courier, the transit time will depend on the delivery country and local courier network.

 

When the goods reach your local depot, the depot will usually contact you to arrange final delivery.

How do you apply for a trade account?
