The town has been identified as one of the UK’s social mobility cold spots and is officially the most deprived district in North Yorkshire. This is why we choose to work with small, highly effective charities and local initiatives and educators, that make a measurable difference to people’s lives.

Braeburn Primary & Nursery School
We fund enrichment programmes, trips, and activities that many children would otherwise miss — building confidence and aspiration at one of the area's most disadvantaged schools. Our support has grown alongside the business: from pantomime trips to field trips, a new stage area, and refurbished dining and garden spaces.
Ben Harrington
We sponsor Ben Harrington, a talented young cyclist who began riding in August 2023 and has already competed at the highest levels in the UK and Europe. His dedication and rapid progress embody the spirit of local ambition we aim to champion. We first sponsored Ben in 2025 and continue our support into 2026.
