Minni Parker is an English textiles and homeware brand, inspired by Austria and crafted in Cornwall. Founder and Designer Katharine Lawrie is known for her ability to bridge classic and contemporary design, an approach that naturally extended into the interiors of her own home.

When designing her children’s bathroom, Katharine sought to create an environment that balanced beauty with everyday practicality.

At the heart of the scheme sits the La Rochelle cast iron bateau bath, custom painted in Katharine’s favourite, Radicchio Red from Farrow and Ball. This bold statement piece anchors the room, bringing warmth and personality to the bathroom.

The bath is complemented by elegant living brass Linton bath and basin taps, introducing a timeless material that develops a unique patina with age.

Katharine collaborated closely with interior designer Kate Guinness, ensuring the final result felt cohesive rather than self-referential.

“Working with Kate allowed me to incorporate my own products without the bathroom becoming a vanity project. The experience was freeing; to have a designer to share my ideas with, as well as my new designs and fabrics. It was an amazing, collaborative relationship and I adore this room.”

The final design seamlessly integrates Katharine’s signature textiles and wallpapers, as well as her Salzburg Sprig Tiles, with the brass fittings and bold colour palette. The finished space is a joyful, characterful bathroom that balances practicality with bold design.
