Kathryn Davison, the face behind My Millennium Maison is a passionate DIY and interior stylist with almost 150,000 people. Her latest project, the family bathroom, needed a refresh but with limited space to work with, was not going to be a straightforward renovation.

 Kathryn’s inspiration came from the Ashbee & Stone bath taps she discovered on Instagram. She incorporated them into her mood board, which became the starting point for the project. Working with quite a small area, Kathryn knew she couldn’t fit a shower in the space but wanted a bath that would make a statement.

The team introduced her to the Petite Delaunay RossaStone® bateau bath. Initially, Kathryn had considered an acrylic option from another supplier to suit her space and budget. However, after sharing her vision, she was delighted to discover that the more luxurious RossaStone® bateau bath would fit perfectly and was also available at a surprisingly similar price.

Kathryn was also keen to experiment with mixed metal finishes. She already had antique brass light fittings and wanted traditional-style tapware that would complement them. She chose Linton taps in polished nickel for both the basin and bath, drawn to their warm, living quality and the way the richness of the colour would deepen over time.

Another item on her wish list was a double vanity unit, though space again posed a challenge. Thanks to clever joinery and precise measurements, Kathryn was able to install a bespoke painted Wytham double vanity, perfectly tailored to the room.
